July Favourites

July Favourites - Miss Bella blogs

July seems to have just flown by and I can't quite believe how quickly the summer is going by. When looking back on the products I have been loving the most this month to put into my monthly favourites I noticed that I haven't really been wearing that much make up due to the warmer days. However there are a few constant staples that I have been reaching for.

Clinique High Impact Mascara
This is one of the best mascaras that I have tried so far. I loved it from the first time I used it and I have recently re-found my love for it! I have tried a good few mascaras but after using this one again I was reminded of how good it is. It lasts well throughout the day and gives also makes my lashes look beautiful, a win win!

Clinique Cheek Pop
Another Clinique product that I have been loving is this beautiful blush in the shade 'plum pop'. I have a post all about this blush here if you want to know a bit more about what I think about it. I really like this blush for the summer months as it adds a really pretty pop of colour to my cheeks.

Essie 'Lovie Dovie'
This has been my go to nail polish for this month and was also featured in my nails of the day post. I just love this bright flamingo pink for this time of year and it is the perfect polish for both a summery manicure and pedicure!

Benefit POREfessional
Now if you have followed my blog for a while now you will already know how much I love this primer, all you have to do is scroll through my blog posts and it is use to pop up in a few posts! I have really been loving using this as my base over this last month, it helps to smooth out my skin meaning that I can have a light natural base for days when I don't want to wear much make up.

What are your favourite products from this month?

Take Me To The Beach

Take Me To The Beach - Miss Bella blogs
The beach is one of the best places to go to in the Summer. I have recently been loving pinning some beach inspiration and putting these pictures together to make a beach themed mood board. Having a mood board with some of my favourite images is so nice to have as it means that I can look at it when I'm not at the beach, when I want to feel inspired or even when it is a rainy day and just in need of a summer pick me up!
Why not create your own mood board of inspirational pictures. It can be of anything you want, you can have a theme or just a mixed collection of images you like. If you are looking for a place to start Pinterest is your best friend, here is the link to my summer board if you want some summery inspiration.

What would you put on your mood board?

Nails of the Day

Nails of the Day ~ Essie 'Lovie Dovie' - Miss Bella blogs

Today's' nails of the day features the newest addition to my Essie polish collection and is this beautiful flamingo pink. You may have already seen this polish on my blog in my pink beauty haul post. It is the shade 'Lovie Dovie'. Like all Essie polishes it has a beautiful formula and applies really well, as well as lasting a really long time! I have been wearing this polish pretty much all month long so far as I just love it so much! I think that this is the perfect polish for the summer months as it is a brighter pink and adds a lovely pop of colour. I think it would also look lovely on toe nails too!

What polish are you wearing right now?

Benefit Cosmetics Summer Favourites

We are well and truly into the Summer months now and there have been a few products that I have found myself reaching for more now that the weather is warmer. When looking at these products I noticed that the majority of them were Benefit products, so I decided that I would do a brand themed post. Anyway enough chit chat and onto the products!

I love Benefit's Hoola bronzer, it is a definite summer staple product for me and has made quite a few appearances on my blog. When the weather is warmer I like to brush this over my face where the sun naturally hits my face to add a bit of warmth and colour to my skin.
Another Hoola product that I like is their lip gloss. It is a pretty, neutral gloss that gives your lips a healthy glow. I like that this isn't a really sticky lip gloss like other lip glosses can be. It is also the perfect size to pop into your handbag for touching up during the day.

Dream Screen
Another product that has been appearing more frequently on my blog is Dream Screen. It is a sun screen for your face with SPF 45 PA+++. Even though this is a product that is to be used all year round I think it is extra important to remember to use it in the Summer when the sun is stronger. It is easy to apply and doesn't feel heavy on your skin. It also works well under your makeup and doesn't effect it. It may look a bit shiny but I like to use a primer to help with this.

Speaking of primers this is my go to one! Another favourite that pop ups quite a lot on my blog, but one that I like to have on hand in the Summer months. When the weather gets warmer makeup does't like to sit on your face for very long so I always like to use this primer to keep my makeup where it should be. I also like to wear this alone on good skin days or days when I don't want to wear a lot of makeup as it smooths out the look of my skin.

What are some of your favourite beauty products for Summer?

Friday Five

1  2  3  4  5

I have been spending some time (not procrastinating!) and looking through the feel unique site for some beauty inspiration! I thought I would put together 5 of my top picks that I would like to try to share in today's Friday Five post!

The Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess lip gloss caught my eye straight away! It is so beautiful, I just love how simple and elegant the packaging is.I was also intrigued by a new brand to feel unique called Bagsy. They have some really lovely products that are just perfect for popping into your handbag. One that caught my eye was this beautiful eyes 24 hour eye colour. I am really into trying out some eye shadow pencils and this is such a pretty pearly shade that would be perfect for everyday use. Since trying the rose hydrate range from Superfacialist I am really interested in trying more rose based products, so when I saw this face mask from Origins I had to add it to my wishlist! The Guerlain bronzers are ones that I have always heard such wonderful things about so when I saw that a new limited edition one had been released I had to have a look for it! This bronzer is just so gorgeous and I love the sun themed pattern. The Clinique chubby sticks are another favourite of mine and I have had my eye on the highlighter for a while! I have been using up my current highlighter at the moment but when it comes to an end I think I might just have to try this one out!

Pink Beauty Haul

I recently made a trip to boots as I wanted to try out some new products and as there are offers on at the moment I thought that it would be the perfect time to pick up some new products to try. With the added bonus that all of the products I bought were pink!

After trying the Superfacialist rose face wash I really wanted to try out some more of the products in that range. So I picked up the rose hydrate mask and night cream. (At the moment the Superfacialist range is on offer in boots and with these products you save £5!)
I also picked up an Essie polish that I have had my eye on for a while now. It is the shade 'lovie dovie' and is a beautiful flamingo pink colour. Lastly a good old trusty favourite of mine, batiste dry shampoo in 'blush'. I got it in the mini size so it is perfect to pop in my handbag and ready for when I want to give my hair a quick refresh on the go.

What pink products have you bought recently?
